Used to think this was a good quality name in appliances. Not any more. The dryer quit drying (no heat) after 2 months and 9 days of ownership. I would NOT recommend any GE appliance let alone washers and dryers.

Not a big bulky dryer but yet generous on the inside. I really enjoy the light on the inside great feature! My sister has one and she’s very picky so meeting her approval I new it was the one.

This dryer works as advertised. My only complaint is that the 4 inch tube on the back of the dryer to hook your exhaust elbow and hose to is for some inexplicable reason larger, just slightly, than the 4 inch standard. My old elbow from my previous GE dryer will not fit over it. I bought 2 different brand elbows with the same result. I went to Home Depot and looked at several dryers and all the other brands were the standard fit. I looked at a lesser model GE dryer there and it was a standard tube on the back but the more expensive model with smart wi-fi and a glass door also had the oversized tube in back that a standard elbow will not go over. WHY WOULD GE BUILD THEM THIS WAY?????? I finally found a slotted elbow and it barely fit. How frustrating!!!!!!!!!!!!

Had to finally replace my 16-year old dryer - IT WAS A GE! There was no doubt as to what I would buy. So far, I have been very pleased with the new unit. There are a lot of new features that are easy to understand. LOVE GE products.
