Overview
GE 1.7 cu.ft. over-the-range sensor microwave oven. This microwave features sensor cooking, a recessed turntable with on/off and 1000-watt of power. It also is equipped with a venting system with two speeds and 300-CFM.

I love this microwave. It's so sleek and very easy to use.
I haven't had a chance to use all the features yet (only installed a week ago) but I love the color of my new microwave (to match the refrigerator). Opening and closing the door seems a bit stiff and loud compared to my last microwave - will take some getting used to.
LOVE THE SLATE COLOR AND ALL OF THE FEATURES. REHEATS AND HEATS FOOD AND BEVERAGES VERY QUICKLY.
I love this microwave but my only problem is the counter/surface light went out after a year. I pulled the single bulb out and can't seem to find one anywhere. You mention a cite to get them but it says "not available". Can you please tell me the part # and where I can get a suitable replacement, tired of cooking in the dark.
5 stars for how product works when it is working and for appearance. 2 stars because two failed in 6 years (we bought again only to match other appliances, otherwise would switch brands). Also, mounting hole and bracket locations/style have changed despite ordering exact replacement model number, so took more drilling/repositioning than expected for an exact replacement.
I purchased this model plus the spacer kit. It fills my area completely. The oven has good space, the turntable is higher than some in the past. It is quiet and cooks and defrosts perfect ly.
This thing is nowhere near the quality of other brands.
This is our 3rd of these same model microwaves since 2017. To say it’s disappointing to have to have replaced 2 in a 5 year period is an understatement. It matches all our GE appliances and so I hesitate to try and find a different model. The first replacement was covered under warranty, but this second one cost us the expense of a repairman to diagnose and then tell us to fix and reinstall was going to be more than a new microwave. Overall, my kitchen appliances that were all part of this group are good, and hopefully 3rd times a charm with this one.
It's LOUD! Tried looking up remedies online but the answer has been buy a LG instead lol got a good deal, stuck with it for the next 10 years
