30-inch Under-Cabinet Range Hood (JVX5305SJSS)

After receiving the vent in January, it took until 4/25 before a new, undamaged unit could be installed. It's fine now.

For many years we did not have a range hood and now that we do it makes cooking much easier. The lights are bright and the fan is very powerful. We can now see what we are doing!!

Hood works OK but was supposed to be vented to the outside and is blowing to the inside.

The lights are nice and bright but the fan has a noise problem that occured during installation and a technician was unable to permanently fix after a separate visit. Removing the screen I can see the housing moving so I suspect the fan is out of balance. The noise is consistent with a fan blade scraping on the interior of the housing during part of its rotation. The noise is most noticable at the lower fan setting.

Its just what I wanted. Thankyou. I will recommend this to everyone.

First hood I’ve had. Nice. Quiet. Light bright. No longer cooking in the dark.

Very nice. Works very well. Looks very well. This range hood is an asset to my kitchen.

The install was easy. This GE range hood looks great and works great. The fan on high keeps the air clear when cooking. The LED lighting is great for lighting the stove and counters. The filters are easy to remove and can be cleaned by putting them in the dish washer.

Looks subtle, easy cleanup. Removes smokes and grease with power.

After researching the products in our price range, we landed on the JVX5305SJSS under cabinet range hood. The installation was easy (watched the GE Installation video on YouTube), and the final result and function of this product exceeded our expectations.
