21.7 cu. ft. Chest Freezer (FCM22DLWW)

After waiting weeks for this freezer it was delivered with a lid that would not seal. It appeared to be frowning at me. I am currently waiting for a brand new lid, my appointment is tomorrow, although I have not received a (separately shipped) replacement lid. Other notes are that it has no leveling feet or capability which I think is important for a freezer this size. The extension cord is rather short also. I do believe I am going to enjoy this once it is right. G.E. Saving grace is the service tech they sent me (#127), who was amazing. Old school repair customer service.

We recently replaced our old freezer with this one. It has awesome dividers and storage trays. It really helps organize everything, especially when you get a full steer butchered!

The double layer baskets and dividers make having a chest freezer the best option. Extremely energy efficient, handy features to monitor the performance of the freezer made this purchase a no-brainier.

On my 2nd freezer now, 1st one worked great until it randomly stopped working, high temp alarm came on (thank god). 14 months out so 2 months out of warranty. Thankfully the state of Maine has a lemon law so G.E had to honor this mishap since the life expectancy of this machine is surely not 14 months. Would be getting a 1 star but G.E had a new freezer in my garage within a week. Great customer service once they laws were understood. Would I buy a freezer from G.E again probably not. But this mind could change depending on how the 2nd deep freeze lasts.

The unit is very rigid and the door and hinges appears well built. These were weak points on my prior Fridgidaire model. The inside basket rails are a bit less rugged than what I envisioned from the information provided online. Hopefully they will be adequate. Awesome to have option of 5 baskets and two different levels for the baskets.

This freezer makes it very easy to organize your items and kep them separated! Love all the sliding baskets and because I am short...I love that it is a couple of inches shorter than our last freezer!!!!!!!

This freezer is so big I can fit 2.5 pigs in it. LOL we are hog farmers and those small traditional freezers are so hard to organize. But with this freezer I can have everything labeled and put in proper order. There are baskets included for any item I use regularly for quick grab meals. This is perfect
