I purchased a 17 cu ft. freezer and love it. It is perfect for my garage.
Overall appears to be ok. Just received today. The door however will not close unless I push it hard!
I love my new freezer, especially the little alarms on it and how easy it is to operate the control settings. Also that its frost free! Thank you GE....

Love the design and all its features except now it’s tripping on high internal temperature alarm. We keep it in the garage and it doesn’t get above 85F on the hottest days. I ran it through test mode and everything functions well except the compressor suction line doesn’t get as cold as it should. It would be weird for it to have lost refrigerant but I guess anything’s possible. It’s still pretty new so it’s odd that it’s already having problems.
ONCE WE HEARD YOU COULD LEAVE THIS PRODUCT IN THE GARAGE ALL YEAR LONG WE WERE SOLD.
I am very pleased with my new garage ready upright freezer. It has an amazing amount of storage space. The shelving is sturdy and will hold large amounts of frozen food. It has a wonderful large wire basket for random shaped items. The electronic control with the alarm is a great feature for a garage freezer.

Excellent design and performance at a very competitive price.
Although it arrived needing a new motherboard; it’s been working great. The shelves and interior design are also exactly what I wanted; and are very sturdy. We had looked at other brands before we bought this one; and felt the GE design, construction, and function were far superior.
