33-inch, 23.6 cu.ft. Freestanding French 3-Door Refrigerator with External Water and Ice Dispensing System (GFE24JYKFS)

Almost 5 months since delivery and hasn't worked right yet. Multiple service calls and waiting on parts. Yesterday's repair again not successful. Lost all confidence in this fridge and want it replaced. Service tech has 3 customers same model same issues. GE must have, and be aware of, bigger problem and are not addressing it yet.

It's nice and big and is perfect for refrigerating all of my grocerice meats and frozen food. I love it.

Post covid, difficult to find a 33" model with the features we wanted. This is exactly what we wanted.

We especially love that we can fit larger items in the fridge and can find everything in the bottom freezer section easily. The icemaker buttons are great. All you need is a very light touch. Our previous fridge had very difficult buttons that had to be pressed exceptionally hard.

GE is a good name brand that's been around forever. This is one reason why we bought this french door refrigerator for our family. Appliance reviews are great, too! Pros and Cons are-- I like the design of the outside/exterior and the ice tray is a nice receiving size. However, the ice maker is very noisy! Can be startling. I miss the back-saving handle for the freezer (bottom drawer) part that I had with my old refrigerator and the handles on the main part of the refrigerator do not work smoothly either. The alarm will tell you if you left the door ajar which it already has. The lighting is nice how it turns on softly when opening- but the lights for water, ice & crushed options are hard to see because the light here is too dim. The drawer space could have been designed better so as not to waste the space with a not-for-nothing gap. And, the left side door trays are very small. Thankfully, the opposite side door is adequate for larger items. We were in hurry to buy a new refrigerator and I wish I would have taken more time to choose the right GE model for us, but having a good working refrigerator is a necessity. So it's a mix of good and could be better. Hopefully, time proves this refrigerator to be a very good buy. It looks great! And, it's working well and that's the most important thing.

We would have loved to have purchased the 36 inch model, but our house was set up for 33 inches. Not many options out there. This one is almost perfect. The label’s on the water/ice dispenser are very hard to read, We will need to come up with some good looking creative options for labeling them so we do not meet to explain to others every time we have guests who want ice and water.

Appearance and Quality much to my satisfaction. Suits my needs

My kitchen is too small for a standard 36" refrigerator so this was a good compromise for a french door with water and ice. It's quiet and keeps temperatures nicely, however, there are some big annoyances. The lettering on the front is almost impossible to read, there is basically no adjustability for the shelves (I had to permanently remove a shelf to make room), and the water filter is DRM controlled.

I love when I open the doors I can see everything. The drawers are so convenient and visible that I’m no longer wasting forgotten fruit or vegetables in the bottom drawer. The shelves on the left door are narrow due to the ice maker but I have managed to fill them. And the water/ice on the door is awesome! I am surprised that the freezer is so organized, you really don’t have to dig for anything. Well done GE!
